FOOTBALL - Barça: New blow for Ronald Koeman after Juve
On Wednesday, FC Barcelona signed their second victory in as many Champions League outings against Juventus. After this success, Barça announced sad news on Thursday evening.

Bad news falls for Barça

Defeated in the Clasico, FC Barcelona got some fresh air on Wednesday in the Champions League. Barça won (0-2) on the lawn of Juventus in Turin. The only downside of the evening on the Barcelona side came from Ronald Araujo. The Uruguayan central defender replaced Gérard Piqué, suspended. However, the 21-year-old came out with an injury against the Bianconeri. On Thursday evening, the Catalan club gave more details on the nature of Araujo's injury. In a statement, FC Barcelona said the Uruguayan suffered "muscle injury to the biceps femoris of the right thigh". The club did not disclose the length of his unavailability, however. The young defender's return will depend on how his injury progresses.

Already two packages for Koeman?

Hit in the thigh, Ronald Araujo is already forfeited for the next Barça meeting. On Saturday, FC Barcelona move onto Alaves’s pitch in La Liga. A meeting that is not so certain to play Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian midfielder was also hit in the thigh during the Clasico lost to Real Madrid. Like Araujo, Coutinho also suffers from a muscle injury to the biceps femoris of the left thigh. The Brazilian was already absent on Wednesday's trip to Allianz Stadium against Juventus.
